Search Hurrbee from your address bar

Two ways to do it. The first takes about twenty seconds and doesn't change anything else about how you browse.

Recommended

Type :hb to search Hurrbee

Keep whatever search engine you already use. Set a shortcut, and Hurrbee is there when you want it.

  1. Open Settings → Search engine → Manage search engines and site search
  2. Find hurrbee.com in the list — it's there already if you've visited us before
  3. Click the three dots beside it, choose Edit
  4. Set the shortcut to :hb and save
  1. Open Settings → Search
  2. Scroll to Search Shortcuts and find Hurrbee
  3. Double-click the keyword column and type hb

Safari doesn't support custom search engines. You can add Hurrbee to your bookmarks bar, or use another browser for search.

:hb what is photosynthesis

Type that in your address bar once the shortcut is set.

Or make Hurrbee your default

Every search from the address bar comes to us. You can change it back at any time, in the same place.

  1. Open Settings → Search engine
  2. Click Manage search engines and site search
  3. Find hurrbee.com under Inactive shortcuts
  4. Click the three dots beside it, choose Make default
  1. Open Settings → Search
  2. Under Default Search Engine, open the dropdown
  3. Choose Hurrbee

Safari only allows its five built-in options, so Hurrbee can't be set as the default there. Chrome, Brave, Edge and Firefox all work.

Don't see Hurrbee in the list? Run one search here first — that's how your browser learns we exist.
